another option

consider attending a US osteopathic school (not like Canadian ones) and you can license in your province. contact tfindlay@telus.net to learn more about what is happening in your province.

You need to up your extracurriculars because they will take it into account, and go over the list on the site on my previous post to get an idea if you will make it into a US school.

As stated above, your mcat is really good but unfortunately your gpa is a bit low. I'm not sure about Canadian schools but I definitely do not think it would hurt for you to try American schools. You never know. At least apply, and if you don't get in you can always apply to a post-bacc program or the Caribbean. I'm sure you would get into both.

no. Unless you are a permanent resident, the majority of US schools consider canadians as FOREIGN. Only few schools in the bordering states consider canadians as out of state.
