yet at the same time she says if she had to take back time, she would go to SABA, I do not understand if you have the ability to do good anywhere, why would you like to go to SABA?

All I have to say about CAHSU 01 , is if you cannot tell right away that this is a school crony,then you are dumb. Licensure in all 50 states , with caricomm is a load of crap. I had a chat with Cali board, and they said that CAHSU01's comments were **.

As Miss Pat Parks (CALI board foreign liason) office stated, Cali board has their own criteria, their own inspection process nothing else matters and CAHSU has not engaged in that process.

AS well, yes datapro may or may have not been bought, but the point still remains the same about CAHSU /SPARTAN, and their workings.

you are right on the California issue, the other person is not informed on the licensing procedure. even if we got california (long shot, we'd need researd facilities at CAHSU, and the only person we could hope would do any research would be dr. ilkov, as he was with the group that discovered mRNA a long time ago). look at SABA for example, they are now california approved, but not retroactive for people who started basic sciences before 2002, or 2001, can't remember. we wouldn't be able to get CA license approval for at least 5-10 years, if we do well. so anyone even starting CAHSU right now hoping for that is delusioned or misinformed. sorry, but that's the way life is.

and as i said before, i'm here because it was best for the family. i don't care to practice in CA; i've called all 5 states licensing boards that i'm interested in, and talked to them about being able to practice there, and they are okay with CAHSU.

do you know if this school is approved in TX?
What other states can their students NOT practice?

can't practice in CA, TX, NM uses CA's list, but they might atleast budge (CA will not budge), KS will be okay by 2011 (school has to be around for 15 years).

I heard that there is a student doing his/her resid. in TX at this time...Is that true?

so if this student can get his/her resid. in TX why can't future students?
Personally, i am interested in TX but if TX dont allow me to practice there, i'll just go to another state...

I am still checking around and am interetsed in Belize Med schools. I am reducing it down to CAHSU and MUA-B. Saint Lukes is out and AGU is out. (Does anything have anything positive to say about St Lukes and AGU???).

Yeap its pathetic!!! Yes you are pathetic but the dean sure had a fine secretary. It really is a nursing school, there is no signs outside. I think its a rip off. Most if not all of the students just like it because they meet people and because of the student laons, thats all.

Maybe some students like it because it works out for them, and they can graduate, get residencies and become licensed physicians.

You can say all you want about a school being crap, or flaky, or whatever, but the bottom line is that students go to a school because it works for them. Maybe admissions criterion, maybe location, maybe cost, who knows...

So whats the big deal if they have classrooms here, or there, or wherever. They turn out licensed doctors.

It is a a big scam ... I lived in Belize for 7 years .... nobody even in BELIZE know much about BELIZE MEDICAL COLLEGE [ no reputation ] ... also renting some buildings is not gonna make a doctor out of you ... you need a reputed medical school , rigourous curriculum , standards that would make you a doctor , give you the license to practice in the country where you studied [ BELIZE MEDICAL COUNCIL DOES NOT RECOGNISE THESE COLLEGES FOR REGISTARTION . PERIOD ] , just giving unsuspecting students from USA and Canada the hope that they would be able to sit for USMLE exams would not make them doctors ... first let the medical school there get license , get itself a hospital on it's own that treats patients and also teach students there ...
I am currently fully licensed to practise in BELIZE nad have been working with the Government all these years ... Please look for some good med schools to get into ... UNVERSITY OF WEST INDIES - JAMAICA is excellent also you get UK license when you garduate .. no need to sit for PLAB exams there ... Tell me if any BELIZE MEDICAL COLLEGE graduate has ever taken the PLAB test in UK and passed it ... I bet none yet ... I wounder if they are even eligible to sit that exam ....
Please make your choice carefully before you get into a med school in Caribbean ... in case you have doubts take your time and visit MED schools in UK , Western Europe ,INDIA , Australia , NEW ZEALAND , Ireland , Jamaica - UWI , South Africa... the benefits are great , the effort is worth it , you could easily sit for the USMLE back in USA if that is your aim and clear the exams without any trouble , also the excellent med schools I just mentioned would always be worth anytime during your med career
