Which of the following best represents the 1-year incidence of alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities in this community?

Uhu...

Let's see...
From the question...
Quote:
800 motor vehicle collisions occurred over 2 years in a city with a population of 600,000; 600 of these accidents were alcohol-related. During the same period, there were 400 fatalities due to motor vehicle collisions, of which 75% were alcohol-related. Which of the following best represents the 1-year incidence of alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities in this community?
In this city X:
Population= 600,000
In a period of 2 years
800 motor vehicle collisions ocurred

In the same period of 2y... they tell us that they had:
400 deaths due to these motor vehicle collisions and
75% from this number of deaths were OH-related

With all this information we can only get the 2-year Incidence of alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities, which will be:

OH-related motor vehicle fatalities= 400x75%= 300
Population= 600 000

Incidence= 300/600 000= 300 per 600 000

BUT...
The question is:
" Which of the following best represents the 1-year incidence of alcohol-related motor vehicle fatalities in this community?

Tricky question huh

I agree, the answer for me would also be E)
