ooh.. toughie. i'll go for caffeine. i know if its 15-25 age bracket, its def. alcohol, but all ages is probably coffee. you also meant to say substance rather than drug rite.

note - in case they ask the most common illegal drug.. its definitely marijuana.

I am myself confused........If it comes in boards ....i would take alcohol.[See caffine is not under drug abuse. Though it causes addiction].

What have others to say????????????

ya, youre right. i read up on it and while "caffeine withdrawal" has been empirically supported and added to dsm-iv, caffeine abuse and dependence arent. so that should make alcohol the answer.
