All depends on what your idea of being a doctor is, I guess. Do you think they are offering fellowships in Opthamology? I think I've seen some of these jobs first hand. If "helping people" is your ONLY! interest in medicine, you might be OK.

There may be jobs in Iraq too. Yes, you WOULD have the opportunity to "help people" BUT...

In my state Opthamology is not a very competitive speciality...this is not the US; you really should have done more research before you came here.
