Job opening for surgeon in Queensland, Australia

Students and trainees must do "rural terms" where they are required to "train" under people like. this. And there are plenty of 'em out in the country.

Should take this into consideration as well

You should take into consideration that Patel did his residency in
New York state and that he also worked for about 10 years in Portland
Oregon for Kaiser Permanente. I am not familiar with the Australian
medical system, but it seems very unfair to use Patel as the sole
supporting evidence to support your claim. Are you from Australia Senna?
I have only visited Freemantle and Perth in the late eighties, so I do not
have any direct knowledge of the Australian medical system.

Patel's Portland-based lawyer, Stephen Houze, has refused to comment on his client's whereabouts or on the inquiry's report.

Patel, who was educated in India and completed his residency in New York, was first cited for negligence by health officials in that state in 1984.

He moved to Oregon in 1989 and began working for Kaiser Permanente in Portland, but had his practice restricted by Kaiser in 1998 after a review of 79 of his cases.

The Oregon Board of Medical Examiners made Patel's restriction statewide in September 2000, and New York health officials forced him to surrender his licence to practice there in April 2001. Patel's Oregon medical licence was revoked in April this year.

Patel was hired in Australia in 2003, and it wasn't long before some of his former colleagues became suspicious about his practice.
