Thread: Strong Applicant

What kind of grades and other credentials would a strong applicant have for a pretty good chance for admission?

If you ask this question in the right forum subsection, you'll get more responses.

I applied for the fall cycle and I was told that the AVERAGE GPA is ~2.9.
I'm not sure what the average MCAT is but I'd guess it is ~24, which is general to all of the big 4 Caribbean medical schools.

If you have GPA better than MCAT, or vice versa, they should balance each other out. Even then, a very low score on either standard might cause you trouble unless you have some other outstanding factor in your application.
