I have a friend that lives there and its not too far from the school... Not to mention all the people living there are friendly AUC students who are more than willing to give you a ride if necessary... Too bad I am already stuck in a lease otherwise I would definitely take this (esp. over AUC dorms!)

if it's on long bay, it's probably a privately owned villa of some sort......very nice part of the island and there will never be traffic between there and school (even in high season) FYI

Yes, it is on the French side, which means reliable utilities and it's safer. The complex is called Sunset Falls, but there's no website. It was a privately owned villa, converted to 6 apartment, all of which are occupied by AUC students. It's about a 7 minute drive / 35 minute walk (2.4 miles from AUC)

Hi, I tried to call that number that's posted and I got the message that "You are not allowed to call this number". Is the apartment still available? I'm currently a first semester student and am looking for a place for next semester. Any help you can give is much appreciated!

The number does work. Usually when you get that message...you're not dialing it exactly right. The cell phone service on the island is very finicky, if you haven't already seen that. That number works though.

Not available at the moment though. There may be another one opening up for the August semester, but not sure. I'll re-post if something opens.
