Just wanted to let fellow students know that Mohammed at Ace Rent a car said that he does have cars available for lease. He was super helpful with a rental and seemed like a stand up guy. I just figured with the bad rep that the locals sometimes get, i might as well drop a positive review of one. his number (with his permission) is 599-524-4078. I don't have info about rates but he was very reasonable with the local rental ($40 including taxes, liability, and collision insurance) plus let me keep it an extra 6 hours past time due and said didn't charge me for a 2nd day. good luck to all!
