Micro..do you have 5 minute consult PDA or stedman dictionary?

Jeff.

I just got my first palm. Blue steel, TX model with 128MB flash memory. I was able to download RX free for drug references to cynchronize them on my Palm.

Should I pay a "huge" sum of money for 5 minute consult and stedman dictionary as well? it seems they comes with quite pricy tag even on Amazone.com.

Anyway, this palm is amazingly fast and have all the fancy stuffs

take care my friend
thanks.

PS. How are the new Einstein students? The ones we had when we left were pretty cool and laid back...had a riot with them.

hi Ja"""

I think those guys from the Albert Enstein were good and fun to be around. We were getting along very well and enjoyed rotation together until the very last day. I was not surpised to see that they were also struggling with uncertanties with being a med student these days such as dealing with shelf exam to pass the rotation and evaluations from the attendings so on.

As a matter of fact, DR.Mi''''''s introductory page on the clerkship guide cleary states that we are dealing with the uncertanties and confusion in roles as med student.

Anyway, Ped has been good and I found it most enjoyable rotation so far. Maybe it is because the residents and attendings are super nice and sweet compared to the surgery and OB/GY and the amazing feeling of helping a kid getthing through the disease process.

It may be also due to so called Peterpan Syndrome.....you feels as if you are back at the time when you were playing in mud pool and forgets the harsh realities out there in this crazy world.

One of my ped attedning keep telling me to go for internal medicine instead of ped despite she is a pediatrician herself. there will be more choices and money in medicine according to her.

I will have to make a decision....

Take care my friend

ken

the only solution I found to that dilemma was... IM/Peds combined 4 year residency. None of the surg/ob stuff of FP.

Jeff. I would like to take that combined residency of ped/IM in combo. I think it would be owesome to be able to see the entire patients age groups from the kids to the elderly.

Combo is always good....

What can be better than two for one?

I am happy that my days in OR is a history now so the OB/GY ward. The only way to know what you dont want is to get through of it.
