My name is Danielle, and I am the Associate Director of Admissions for the College of Veterinary Medicine.

I cover a large territory where I deliver presentations and conduct student interviews.

I just wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know if you have any questions or concerns feel free to private message me!

Currently, the school has an agreement with Oregon State University as a clinical site. This contract will follow 7 semesters on island and will mean a DVM degree from AUA. As of now, VTech is the only contracted US transfer school. Others are being worked on, but will probably not make much progress until our first group of students goes to VTech and makes a name for the students that are coming out of this program. We do have contracts of transfer with three International vet schools, but this will not be an option for every student. Any student is welcome to apply for transfer to a US school (so long as you meet that institute's requirements). US schools do not always have openings to take students, so your chances would depend on your application, number of other students also applying there for transfer and how many spots they have available. You also usually have to finish a certain number of semesters here before being eligible, but those requirements differ by university. Hope this helps.
