My GPA was about 3.6 out of 4, and my interview went really well. 50% is based on your marks, and the other 50% is based on your Personal Statement and your interview. Just make sure you know why you want to go for pre med at AUA rather than do university in Canada. And also depending on who interview's you ...they try to make sure you have the potential to be a doctor. If your GPA is around a 3, then you should think about if you can become a doctor or not.

What questions did they ask during the interview and where exactly do students attend classes when enrolled in the pre-med program at AICASA(Is it at the AUA campus?)

Well every interview is personal, but some major questions were why not a Canadian university, why do pre med at the island. They also ask for something that you would say to the professors and stuff. Other than that its all personal things, basic about yourself questions. I suppose every interview is different. There is a separate campus for AICASA, i will be going there in sept, so i have never seen it before...but i've heard its not all that great. It is just a bunch of classrooms.

Okayy, and also once your done the pre-med are you guaranteed admission into the MD program @ AUA or must you apply? Also do you know what the approx. success rate is of students continuing to the MD program from AICASA's pre-med? Thanks

If you have a GPA higher than a 3.0 and a reference letter from one of the professors you won't have a problem.

So how does one answer that question: Why AUA premed rather than a Canadian University?

    Just curious.
