The Dean saw your transcript when evaluating your application. Don't bet on changing anyone's mind after arriving in Antigua.

Why do you think you will be taking Physics at AUA? Was it your acceptance letter? If it was and you feel the Dean should reconsider, contact MM, Regional Director of Admission for the NE and ask her to look at your file: mmcgillycuddy@auamed.org (or email me and I will forward the request: tcarlson@auamed.org ). If she thinks your case has merit she may forward it to the Dean to revisit. Otherwise you will have to trust the Dean's years of experience of preparing students for Med 1.

Thanks for the reply Tipton. I was just planning out my schedule and wondering what my classes would look like. I haven't specifically heard anything about having to take physics 2, just trying to plan things accordingly rather. I have no problem taking it if the dean feels it is in my best interest, rather I am just thinking about how to best prepare for med 1 and the coming biology. On aua's website under pre med, it states "Genetics and Microbiology will also be offered as separate 4 credit courses." Are they indeed currently offered as separate classes? I'd love to take them both to get the best background possible. Thanks alot.
