Interview Question

Hey guys, I have my interview this Friday for admission into Pre Med. I have seen numerous threads that exist in AUA's main page which I am guessing are for Med 1 (Basic Sciences). I have not seen any in the Pre Med forum. Are the interview questions some what same, has anyone recently had an interview for admission into Pre Med?

For my interview i was asked about my college record, my work experience, the proverbal "why do you want to be a doctor", etc. (And by the way, the correct answer to that question is not "To Help People". An attending md once told me if you want to help people, become a garbarge man..because everyone needs help taking out their trash.) I was applying for admission period, and was placed based on my academic record into the premed program..so of course it might differ if you've never been in to college in the first place. The interviewer went through my entire college transcript..and in his words, "A's and B's are easy to explain. I want to know about all the other grades."

Heyy..I had my interview for Pre Med a couple months ago and the questions weren't anything crazy. Don't be nervous. Questions i was asked were like..if you had to tell a patient they were suffering from a fatal disease..how would you go about telling them? What should a doctor patient relationship be like? What do you think of other healthcare systems in different countries..questions along those lines. Just be cool and the time and interview will go by so fast.
