Bumping this thread to make sure people know that Ob/Gyn here is no longer greenbook, as of July 2008, so if you're doing a clerkship here and are concerned about Green rotations, make sure it ends before July 2008.

The reason this program was Green (on paper) was because it was affiliated with NOMC's program. That (NOMC's) program shut down last year but remained Greenbook on paper, and St. Joe's was supposed to get its Ob/Gyn program dually accredited this year. However, I've been told that their bid was not successful.

So, St. Joe's Ob/Gyn program will simply be AOA accredited after July 2008.

They will ask on the island during 4th sem. You will not be able to take usmle until after 5th. If you want to go to MI for 5th it shouldnt be a problem. I did it there sept. 07.
