Loans & Financial Aid

Hi

I was accepted for the May '07 semester. Does anyone know the best way to apply for financial aid and loans and how long does it take.

Thanks,

Anna

Call the NY office, there is a lady that is responsible for the FA stuff. She told me that she will be sending the loan stuff to the new students soon (sometime next week maybe). SHe also said that there are no federal loans and u need to have a credit score of 550 and up, thats all I know........
Congrats by the way

If you only need a 550 then you will have no problems. 550 is a very poor credit score BTW. You will ofcourse be paying a ridiculous interest rate if your score is that low. You might want to check out private lenders on your own to get better rates. Schools may direct you towards certain lenders that aren't necessarily the best rate. Schools get benefits out of it, all schools do it even US schools. At my US school I needed a alt loan and the lender the school works with was 2% higher than what I found on my own.
