Since we have been harassed by the admin at WUSOM and since it has been proposed that you are an administrator at WUSOM I will answer address how we have been harassed. First, the Dean of WUSOM called the Minister of Education, Health, and the Attorney Generals office in St. Lucia to try to get them to revoke our accreditation. However, since we are in a joint venture with the government and everything from financial to personal due diligence has been completed on our Board of Directors the government officials here ignored WUSOM's rants. Given these fact's until we have the opportunity to address the WUSOM harassment tactics with our affiliate clinical program directors I will refrain from publishing a list of our clinical sites. Instead, I will offer the following:
What we do:
We do provide in writing a guarantee to each student with a passing score on the USMLE step 1 clinical rotations at US teaching (green book) hospitals.
We only have contracts with US teaching (green book) hospitals and have no clinical affiliations with non-teaching medical centers.
We do not have a waiting list for clinical rotations and eligible students can begin on the next start date of rotation.
We do not have any hidden or added fees however, students must pay their own malpractice insurance, travel, housing, and living expenses.
We only allow 12 weeks of electives at a non-teaching hospital.
We charge $6,800/per semester and we do not have any loans or hidden fees.
For general questions regarding our basic science program:
We do not charge for retake exams and allow up to three attempts if required.
We do not have MD5 students teaching any courses, our instructors are MD's and/or PhD's.
We do not require any coloring for any class.
We do not have any hidden fees including transportation, exam, or registration fees.
We charge $3,800/per semester.
We have our instructors review the material before an exam and review the exam after they have been administered with the students.
