Hi

Can anyone tell me about studying medicine in BANGLADESH?
I have done some research and I have found out that there are 11 Bangladeshi medical colleges are under WHO (9 are government and 2 are private)

Can anyone tell me about

Dhaka Medical College

Bangladesh medical college (Dhanmondi, Dhaka)

Jahirul Islam Medical college (Bajitpur, Kishorgonj)

I am a first year Canadian undergrad student, and I am considering about studying medicine in Bangladesh… you know to save time and money.

well it used to be very difficult...but u know....now most people know a little english and living for the first few months won't be that difficult...by that time u will be able to pick up a lot of the language...bengali is actually an extremely easy language to learn...but ya...life in foreign country is always a bit difficult in terms of adjusting...cheers!!

lol, its been 4 yrs since i was back, but not that many people know that much english...even in the ex pat enclaves...and given that there alphabet is a totally different one, it is not that easy a language to learn...the only reason I speak is because i learned as a child...just picking up the langauge is not the easiet thing.

well i meant only the spoken part..haha...the written bengali will actually be quite tough...nd i agree with u on " not that many people know that much english"....but what i meant was they know something...for example, much more than ppl in china...haha!!
