Well, that's a good question to answer.

The obstacle that comes in the way of Indian Students pursuing MBBS degree from a foreign country is the MCI Screening Test. According to the MCI Board, there are 5 countries where after doing MBBS and PG (MD/MS), students can directly practice in India without MCI test, namely, US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Well, the question is of the budget in these countries, Undoubtedly, It is too high rather say unaffordable!! The answer is, there are some countries in southern and Caribbean parts of America which provides a quality education with US syllabus and you will get a chance to complete your internship and pursue your MD/MS degrees from the proper USA. This will be considered as a US degree and hence, there is no need to clear the Screening Test of MCI as well.

I have completed my MB from China in 2006, completed internal medicine residency in US and ABIM board-certified, now finishing up critical care fellowship in a world-class cancer center, and serves as chief fellow. My co-fellow who's chief fellow in pulmonology is also a graduate from China... so nothing is impossible!

The Chinese medical colleges are mostly preferred by the Indian students for a long time. Look at the pass percentage of students who took MCI screening test, once they completed their course in China. The student's percentage has been decreasing for the past few years. Also, climatic conditions in China would be lot more freezing and for a typical Indian student facing the climatic change would be a struggle.

You could consider the Philippines as an option to carry out medical education as it is becoming the most popular destination among the students. They do have good results and costs you have to bear are considerable. Indian foods are available almost at every place and you could just feel like home.

If you are intrsted in joining seek some advice from consultants like Transworld Educare. They are the principal associate of Davao Medical School Foundation, a leading college in the island of Mindanao, Davao city.

In case student wants to Study MBBS Abroad every country is worth considering with the facts that It should be English Speaking country, Good Literacy Rate, Safe for Students, Course duration and US pattern, Dual-Degree program,Good Study Environment with University Recognition should be there. Considering all the above points in my opinion Philippines is the best option.
