Thread: Loans for Medical School in China

Hi there,

I was wondering how everyone here was paying for medical school abroad. Sorry, I've done some searches but the search options on the forum leave something to be desired. Student loans from the US (Stafford, Perkins, etc.) are not available for any of the med schools in China. Every personal loan I've looked into needs to be payed back in 5 years. I've run out of options. Thanks in advance for your help.

Another alternative you can look at is Sallie Mae - for US citizens and nationals - if the medical school is in their list you can take out a loan and have 15.5 years to repay it in...at low rates, but with good credit.

what personal loans did you look at can you tell me?

Poor you, hope you got some money by now to cover up your medical course fees
