you can get admission to medical schools in china, without having to pay a fee to an agent, simply apply to the school directly, or use the CUCAS system.

yeah but if you are coming from places like African , Europe , America and you have never been to China...you need someone to pick you up at the airport...

help you settle in , help you sort out your application for residence permit etc...when i first came to China i was lucky my sister picked me up cause i would have totally been screwed

plus without agent the fees are 38 000 , with an agent you just pay 34 600

if a person is not capable of going from an airport to a major university, they should reconsider coming to china to study, espesially with how easy and safe it is to travel in china, this is especially so if you are from europe or america. schools in china will arrange housing and pick up from the airport for you. if anyone is intersted in studying at zhejiang, i would contact the university itself and and confirm the difference in tuition fee's. if this is true consider going to another medical school, there are many schools in china that are in excellent cities that are just as good as zhejiang. there is a reason why there is a cucas system its to cut out the middle man, who have been known to cheat students.

its not personal,i did not attack anyone. why pay a middle man when you can directly contact the source for yourself. my proof and verificaiton is this: i just don't see a point in paying someone money for getting admission into a university, when there is an official system by cucas for you to get admission by yourself thats all, medical school is expensive, why not save money. agents have a history of over exaggerating information, making promises that they don't keep. i am not saying that you guys are doing this, i don't know. I JUST WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT THEY CAN DO THESE THINGS THEMSELVES WITH OUT HAVING TO SPEND EXTRA MONEY, ESPECIALLY SINCE THERE IS AN OFFICIAL CHANNEL TO GO THROUGH. they system was developed to prevent people from going through agents. agents don't have a good track record. i think many people will agree with me on these points. can you please tell me how much you charge to help students? and what services you do for them?

    Hi

    How u doing?

I'm also South African. I have been considering applying to study medicine in China as well.
How has your experience been thus far?
Any advice you can offer as to the best way to apply?
I have been in contact with an agent based here in SA (via email) for intake in September 2011 (I think!)

    Thanks
