My name is sarah and I'm 18 years old. I am graduating after two months And i'm interested in studying in china! I wanna know some informations about Zhejiang medical university ( MBBS programme ) , I looked everywhere and i have collected some informations about the univirsity, But I still need more informations!
1. Is is true that the MBBS programme is 5 years ?
and if Yes , please can u give me the subjects which are studied from year 1 till year 5 ?

2. when do we get to start clinical rotation ?

3. Should I buy the books from my country or from China?

4. How much does the uni accomadation cost per year ?

yes it's true,
Year1 : the first course: biochemistry , Chinese , anatomy , histology
second course hysiology , anatomy , medical genetics , chinese
and about the other years sorry i don't know.

When I searched CUCAS (which is really a well put together website for China University & College Admissions [IMO]) I noted that while Zhejiang University is found when searching English taught MBBS programs, however it cannot be applied for via CUCAS system. Seems not all of the approved MBBS medical undergraduate programs can be applied for with CUCAS. Also of the 14-16 programs that can, all of those taught in English are really 6 years duration... I assume this is what people on this board and others referring to as 4+1?
I assume it to be made up 4 years study + 1 additional year for learning Chinese = 5 years (then add the intern year making the total 6 years).
Is this correct? Also after intern year (which can be done abroad) one must sit the medical license exam back in China, and the exam is in Chinese.

I can't say enough about how nice CUCAS is compared to many of the Chinese University websites where many of the Universities English pages are badly in need of upkeep, and refinement of the content/language or grammar etc. The only thing with CUCAS though, is, that not all approved Chinese Medical Universities offering English medical degree programs can be applied for through CUCAS. However it does list all of the approved uni's.

When I review CUCAS further I find that out of the official sanctioned English 34 MBBS programs only about 16 of the English medical degree program are represented and can be applied for through on CUCAS. The rest of the programs have to be applied for directly via the individual universities concerned. Pity. Still CUCAS does give an overview of each of the approved universities and a provincial/country map location. I assume it will become the de-facto method of application before long

no no .. It's 5 year programme and it's taught in english .. I know few people who study in there.
however , I searched in cucac and I found zhejiang university listed in english taught MBBS programmes.
It's 5 years + 1 year internship ..

Does anyone know who has the better medical school in china, ZhEJIANG University of Fudan University?

how is Zhejiang University MBBS program? Anybody studying there? How many students are currently enrolled in this program? And how is the academics? Do the professors speak good English? I am also considering going there and any advice would be highly appreciated.
