Core means the major clinical specialties like Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, OB-GYN, Family Practice , Psycg(?)
Green Book means it's in the book of residencies that is colored "green". Any specialty where a particular hospital has a recognized allopathic residency program.
