oh gosh, if you really want to do residency in the UK or US, your even better off going in India,Phillipines, Caribbean and Australia. Honestly, the reason no one goes to China for MBBS is because the programs there are genuinely hideous. Forget audible english to be spoken there, let alone communicating with locals and patients. Hence, if your actually serious about going to china, think about Hong Kong, Taiwan or the places I said earlier if you wish to gain a decent education with liklihood of obtaining lucrative UK or US residencies.

China medical is a good school, but its english program is not 27 years old. it started in 2005. So no one has graduated from the english program yet.
Many Chinese students hv been gettin residencies in the US from different schools every year for a long time nw, so it isnt a problem for foreign students however a very high USMLE score is required. The english program is known.

lol, the english program isnt even a decade old. there are no english MBBS grads yet, hence the most ackground u get ob chinese MBBS grads are from long-established institutes taught in Mandarin. Have you considered learning chinese?

I am a strudent at CMU. CMU had been teaching in English for 28 years. We were told that at first they taught students of China in English and then of Korea, Japan then gradually of other countries in Asia and then Africa and now we all came from North America (US & Canada).
CMU is rated the best among English medium schools. If you are from North America for admission you need to contact the recruiting firm American Dream Abroad at 209. 832.3111 in US. We all did. Many graduate doctors of CMU have been practising in USA. Teaching at China Medical University is far better than any other / all other English medium schools in China. Of course the low tuition fee in the world and being able to get into after high school are quite attractive for us, right ? If you have a lot of money (may be upto $400,000) and are did PreMed already and be able to get high MCAT score you can go to US Medical School. CMU is the best option if you dont have that much money and no PreMed degree and not high GPA and No MCAT.

I was offered admission at TMU and CMU (both in China) by the recruiters American Dream Abroad in US. I was tossing and took CMU. It is upto the taker. Both are good schools. CMU and TMU are in the top rated schools in China for English medium schools. The teachers have a little accent but this is the best bet in the given circumstances.
If I can afford, get high GPA and get admission in a US school, I would go to US school, of course. I did not have ** degree and I did not have high GPA. I did not take MCAT. Given the limited options I opted for foreign schools. I chose the best schools in China for Medicine in English medium with low cost medical education. I do not regret at all. I am happy this is the best in China. You will get as much Medical knowledge as you want any where in any school. After all it is human body. How medical school can teach you differently ? Any way it all depends on the individual, I believe. There are no short cuts for success in any field. We have to be practical in life. What else we can do ? Make the most out of what you have.
