I had the choice between two schools, Suzhou medical, and Tianjin medical, i chose tianjin because they have been teachng in the english program for 10 years, and some american health science programs have exchange programs with Tianjin medical. I spoke with a student at Suzhou he said that the english program is only a few years old and not very good. He told me some pretty horrible stories about the school. I have heard that China medical University has a good english program. But don't take my word for it. If you are going through an agent becareful in trusting the agent.

I had the choice between 3 med skls... Sun Yat Sen, Dalian and TMU...
Like texas said, TMU has been instructing in english for quite some time now, and I was able to get more detail abt TMU that the other 2. I knew some people hu had come b4 me and they were some what satisfied and provided me with info abt the skl. Sun Yat Sen wudv been my next option but I had no access to any detail and I wudv been the first batch to go from my country, but ive heard its pretty good too. |

Hi I'm interested in learning more about Tianjin's medical program. First off as for the admissions process, it says somewhere on the web site that applicants with bachelor's degrees do not need to take an entry exam, is this the case? Is some level of chinese language proficiency required for admission, as I have absolutely no experience with learning the chinese language, or is it possible to take chinese classes once admitted to the university? About living conditions, is it relatively foreigner friendly? What's the school year like in terms of breaks for summer, winter, etc.? I'd appreciate any info about daily life as well. Thanks!
