Hello,
I already used the search function, but found nothing concrete about medical schools in Romania, except of everyone screaming corruption and that one can be as good as he wants but still has to pay the prof for passing.
Is noone here who could talk out of his or her own experience, i.e. someone who studies at a Romanian Medical School?
Maybe it would be possible to start in the English program and later on change to the Romanian program? I already know French, Italian and Latin, therefore I don't think learning Romanian would be of such a high difficulty.
Thx in advance guys!

I am also having a ton of trouble finding info about schools in Romania. The only responses I could get were from the Medical School Advisor (MSA). They sound like scam artists though.... they brag about being able to get anybody into a school in Romania. This is why I'm looking at a school that isn't associated with this group, mainly Bucharest.
Good luck.
I cannot understand why a student would limit their search to one country only and one thats not an eu member yet. If you have Romanian contacts or family it might make sense, but consider all the EE school, especially Czech, Hungary and Poland BEFORE any other EE school. Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, etc should be last choice at this stage. Maybe in 4-5 years those country's English programs will have improved. Just my .02 worth. GL

I am now a student in Carol Davila bucharest General medicine. I dont think Romania is all that bad. There are here great teachers and also great students.Of course, nothing is perfect but i think its all depend on you...if u want to study and put great effort into your studies , it will surely pay off..CLuj Napoca is also a nice place to study. i was there and started my first year there in the english program. it has students from all over the world. if u want to study in romania then u could do it directly without paying an agent.if u want to pay an agent and let him handle ur paper work then make sure u dont pay more than 500 dollar. it should cost no more. if u need help or have a question please let me know.

Is it true that one have to hand in the application to the Carol Davila university in person (i.e., they won't accept it by mail)?

hey to everyone
I am a 2nd year student in Constanta in the english division. (Yes it does exist).
first of all sibiu does NOT have an english program because that is where we were going to study but the dean died and the current dean said no to starting an english program.
2nd of all the university of Constanta is good. The city itself doesnt offer much to brag about but there will be times when you will really hate the place and times when you will really LOVE the place.
If you have any questions regarding constanta medical university drop me an email and I will respond
take care

Please Dont Go To Romania, once Your Done, only Then You Will See How Difficult It Is To Ggo Back And Get Things Done, They Love Foreigners So Much, They Think...they Are Sacks Of Dollars? Am I Wrong????
Go And Take A Look...better Go To Caribeans, atleast You'll Get What You Pay For!
