Hi guys
I'm willing to pay $1000 to anybody who is willing to give up his spot for OB/GYN or Ped rotation anywhere in the US at this starting date: 04/10/06.
Price is negotiable if the rotation is at a good site.
please email me at malan2007@yahoo.com
Thank you.

Have you tried Staten Island Univ. Hospital? That is where my husband had to go and we are in Baltimore. Good luck...those peds. rotations are hard to get. Pm me if you want the directors name.

I am getting more and more concerned that clinical rotations are becoming booked. People have to resort to buying other's rotations. Does this sort of bargaining happen all the time? Other threads on this site have mentioned the shortage of OB/GYN and Ped rotations at all schools, but Ross is really packing them in right now. It seems like it could get worse once this initial phase of hyper-overcrowding hits the mainland, right?

Are you saying that even Wyckoff is fully booked?

I don't know Wyckoff's status. I'm saying that it is tough getting OB/GYN and ped rotations right now for all the big 3 schools--and that is from other members on this site, so who knows.

If it takes me 5 yrs to get through because I have to wait for a rotation, I don't really care. I just want to become a doctor. I'll use the down time to publish. Maybe I'll be able to sell my rotations at a profit.

If you started in a September class and have passed all semesters the first time and the USMLE1 the first time, it should be the responsibility of your clinical advisor and the ClinicalDean to assure that you are given all your core rotations in order to meet the match in 4 years. Maybe you aren't telling us the full story.

singer,

Reread this this thread because your current interpretation is way off.

I think that buying peoples rotations is a great idea. My offer still holds
