people are like "wow, Ross that's a tough program. You just got to have it to finish at Ross." What is this? All medical schools are difficult, but people act as if you go to SGU the material just flies into your brain. Perhaps the higher attrition rate of Ross?

Or is it because Ross is on the trimester system and SGU is not. Do this require you to finish classes in a lesser amount of time? I know SGU has longer breaks that's for sure.

Yes, of course all medical school is hard. When people talk about Ross being a little tougher than others, they're probably talking about the entire experience, and not just the school. The island where Ross is located is not as nice or as comfortable as the ones where SGU and AUC are located. Even the campus isn't as nice. People take all these things into consideration when they talk about having to "endure" at Ross. I'm not complaining; I had the option of going to those other two schools but chose to come here. The good thing about Ross is that they make you spend the least amount of time in the Caribbean. 16 months...that's all!

Yeah, one of the reasons are the small breaks. Only 2 week breaks and you fit much more into 1 year.

Another reason people say is that in the PAST, there was that curve, reputation of "gunners" at Ross, and their attrition rate (which has improved but to what extent is best left up to raw numbers calculation, a search will help).

Ross considers their program an "accelerated" program. Whatever that means.

Yes, Ross' medical curriculum is even more accelerated than most stateside schools! We don't take the summers off, our semesters are shorter, and we cover as much if not more info than other medical schools at the same/harder academic standards(Shelf exams). How's that saying go, "if you can make it at RUSM, you can make it anywhere?".
