Apps for Financial Aid & Admission

How greuling was the financial aid application process compared to the admissions application? When did you guys apply for financial aid compared to when you were acepted and for what semester? I have not applied for financial aid or for admissions for any med schools as of yet, but do plan on doing both within this next semester. What did you guys do? I was hoping I could get some advice on how to go about these daunting, arduous processes as far as when to start and in what order. Any feedback is appreciated in advance!

fill out the regular admissions application first. send it in. wait. when you hear back about interviews, then begin filling out federal financial aid via fafsa.ed.gov. note that only st.george, ross, and auc participate in fafsa. all other financial application takes place once you are accepted and the acceptance packet includes a financial application, which should take about 4-6 weeks. hope that helps.
