Response from the Florida medical board:

The Florida Board of Medicine does not approve medical Schools. Your School must be listed with the World Health Directory and have a valid ECFMG certificate as well as at least 2 years ACGME approved residency in one specialty area.

Thanks

RE: Medical Licensure

Dear Sir/Madam:

I would like to know if graduates from <medical school name> are eligible for licensure in Florida?

Can students from <medical school name> do clinicals in the state of Florida?

Does the medical board of Florida conduct site visits to foreign medical schools in order to approve them for licensure?

(i.e.- California medical board)

Do you have a list of disapproved foreign medical schools?

Are all the requirements for licensure listed on your website?
If something is missing, please specify below.

Sincerely,
