I just heard that Dr. Chaudry is taking over for Dr. Burlingham next semester for micro. Someone please tell me that this is not true!!!

Also, does anyone know whether we will have lab for micro next semester or not?

I suggest that you e-mail Dr. Hawley, or have your class rep do so to find out once and for all about a possible lab and the need for a scope. I have heard nothing about Dr. Chaudry (from Anatomy right?) join the department of microbiology.

I haven't even heard that!

I know because Nearn is leaving, that Chaudry is taking over more responsibiilties in teh Anatomy department. Not Micro.

The problem with micro is that apparently the department is no longer sure if Dr. B will be leaving after this semester.

At least that is what a friend of mine told who had talked with Dr Martin about this subject.

They have old Ross Micro professors, who they liked in the past, wanting to come back and teach.

Burlingham is leaving after the end of this semester, and also, the microscope is not required for anything beyond 1st semester. DrT told us recently that a student has put up a poster approved by teh SGA, poster was by a 4th semester student who was trying desperately to sell his/her microscope, and noted on the ad that the scopes will be required, once again, by students in 3rd semester for micro lab, which as confirmed by DrT by someone in the micro dept is NOT true...there is NO micro lab.

Hey mitch, was that you who was being picked on by DrB in the review session today?

Review, dont you mean "lets all stare at a flower vase" session. Honestly, sometimes I wonder about the way the micro department is being run.
