I am wondering if anyone from AUC has (or know of someone who has) recieved Texas Licensure? Is there a lot of trouble in doing so? I am from Texas and want to come back to reside.

I'm sure there are AUC grads with TX licensure. Do a search on the forum and call the state licensing board for what is required. But don't worry until your done Step 1....

thanks, though i stole the idea from an old thread. just to maintain my newbie status, however, i'll try to start asking more questions that have already been answered a billion times. hmmm, let's see...ok... i almost have an associates degree in poultry nutrition and i while i haven't taken the mcat, i have passed several urine tests. what are my chances?

Yes, there was an AUC alum who came to speak a few semesters ago and she works in Texas. She said there was a lot of extra stuff and headaches to get Texas licensure, but if you want it bad enough, it is possible to get it.
