I'll post the answers to FAsQ ( freq asked stupid questions)

#1- and my all time favorite. Is medical school hard?

Ans: NOPE!!!!! we are all down here sipping margaritas on the beach with a hot chick, which the school provides every semester upon full payment of tuition. ( hot guys are also provided, if thats what you're into)

#2- whats the weather like?

for the geographically challenged, we are in the tropics, which means there are three seasons, hot, hotter and holly crap!!!!! This answer also applies to what to wear? ans: as little as possible!!!

#3-What if i don't get the residency I want????

Talk about jumping the gun!!! lets not even worry about those pesky little four years staring you menacingly in the face!!!! Then again, how hard can it be? ANS: please refer to FASQ #1

#4- I heard that ROSS XXXXX( replace X with your favorite rumor)

Ans: I guess the fact that ross has been around for a quarter century and has graduates working in every field of medicine lends it no credibility whatsoever.

#5- Do you think I can get in, XYZ are my stats?????

I wish i would have known about the quick online application process!!!I wouldn't have bothered sending in that pesky application. Folks, the admission committee doesn't hang out on this forum. If you are serious about medicine the only way you'll know if you can get in is by applying!!!!!!

#6- Why am I being so mean?????

Ans: honestly, i'm sick and tired of sitting on the beach with these hot girls. I just want to get to my residency already

P.S. If you can think of anymore FASQ please post the answers here, you'll be helping lots of people.

Hey Frank, I agree that people should stop creating threads where they give their GPAs and MCAT scores and ask whether or not they stand a chance of getting in. People should stop asking for speculations and predictions. Have a little courage, fill out the application form, send in your $75, and see what Ross sends you in the mail in the subsequent days. That's all there is to it.

And if you're really desperate for predictions, read the advice received by all the previous people that asked for predictions.

#7 What shoud I do? My stats are XYZ, I applied and already interviewed on Nov 17th. It is now Nov 18th and have not heard anything back yet. When I called the office, they said they have not made a decision yet. What should I do?

While i agree that those questions are useless just remember what is was like when you were in that position and you are waiting for your life to be decided by someone else. Those people are just anxious. I remember wanting to know everything about Ross before coming down here. I imagine those people are just information starved. On a side note it is kind of funny to see the general mood around here take a nosedive end of semester time, everyone is so bitchy (talking about campus)
