If you graduate from med school in the Philippines, you only have ONE year of Clinicals... what happens if you wanna practice in California as general physician OR tryin to get the california letter (requirement for residency)... Clinical rotation is 2 years in the US, so Philippines schools don't qualify/are defecient in clinical hours. Does it mean that it's highly suggested to go thru Senior Internship first before proceeding ?? ... or am i misunderstanding the california licensing requirement. thanks.

california medical board are discriminating againist all california imgs!

from what I have read, they sent 1 pediatrician, 1 nurse and 1 lawyer to st. matthew U, and that school had to pay california, $64,000!!!

if they want to evaluate a medical school, how come they didn't even send one person who have a degree in education?

obviously, their real intention to discriminate people based on their education. People, it is time to fight back. We can't let them to abuse their rights, and mess up our life!

What they want is a certain number of clinical hours. If you have that number you are fine no matter if you completed them in 1 year or 2.

The next school in line will get some decent inspectors...include but not limited to a shoemaker from cali, a janitor from Texas "elpaso" and cook from NYU. I love US of A:). This could not be done better!

Just reminded me of those who never went to school and could diagnose a man's problem by looking at his **** cheek:). Viva la medicina!
