when is the best time to schedule a flight for the september semester from the east coast??

where can i get the best deals??????

ALSO, How do loans work?? Once financial aid approves do they sent you the money or do they pay directly to the school???

When getting loans, do we have a say in how much we want or do they only give you enough to cover tuition and housing??? What about other fees and food, etc???

About 6-8 weeks before hand. If possible, book your flight on WINAIR through the airline also (a few airlines, United and US Air, I think, allow it) in case a flight is delayed.

The schools get the loan money, they take the tuition out and send you the rest. The loans generally are for more, including the expected cost of education which covers housing, food, etc.

Salutations "Alondra":

When purchasing your ticket, remember that ticket prices will go up during the summer so you may want to purchase it earlier. I bought my ticket at Expedia. You may also check Orbitz, Travelocity, or contact the airline directly. Once financial aid approves your loan, the loan can either be directly deposited into your account or a check will be mailed to the address you put in your application. I opted to have it direct deposited into my checking account. However, they do charge a small fee for this. I believe the maximum loan amount the school will certify is $43,820. This is for 1 year and should cover tuition, rent, food, etc. Good luck. Ciao.
