What people need to realize is that just because it is NATURAL doesn't mean it is SAFE. Heck, ARSENIC and STRYCHNINE are "NATURAL". I don't think there is anything wrong with NDs per say, as long as they have some sort of accountability/licensing/training. And if you choose to use an ND you need to research what you are getting yourself into. My MD referred me to one because she is also an LAc. They consult back and forth regarding the problem I need accupuncture for and I see my MD for everything else but I don't say "hey, I havr an incurable brain tumor, I'll take this potion X and I'll be cured" You have to do your homework. Also, she does have proper training and certificiation-and my state does regulate NDs so she does have professional oversight. And if I happen to ask her a question she doesn't know the answer to or she doesn't feel comfortable answering, she will tell me to go ask my MD or "the best person to ask would be an MD or neurologist" etc

well, sorry for all the spelling errors.
And I wanted to make it clear that I feel bad that the person has passed on, cancer is a horrible disease. I have to wonder if I were in such a horrible position I might have made the same decision to do something as drastic-after all, the cancer will surely kill you, why not try the "treatment"?

"People deal with tree doctors, muffler doctors, glass doctors," he says. "There's all kinds of doctors out there."
And as for the risks of allowing dangerous novices to call themselves doctors, Landry is dismissive. "Doctors kill people all day long," he says. "That's why we have malpractice."
Need I add anything??
