Saba is breaking my bank

Just wondering if anyone else here finds it a little frustrating that Saba basically makes you pay for the first semester our of pocket before you even arrive? I haven't gotten my loan money yet and right now Saba is KILLING my credit cards. I just hope when I get this money I can pay it off quick. I understand them wanting you to make a deposit and pay tuition just to make sure you show up but this is rediculous. :shock:

I may be mistaken, but I believe that MedAchiever and Teri Loans require you to show up at Saba before they will release the funds. This is probably so they aren't loaning money to people that just decided not to go.

That is SABA policy...

I personally got the CanHELP loans and have been approved for months... They told me that they would pay tuition whenever SABA required it... but then talking to Gardner, they indicated that it is their policy that you pay you tuition out of pocket for the first semester and there after it would come directly off you loans.... Definitely a pain in the gluts.. Just paid it today...

well I have a friend paying the whole sgu tuition from his own money,he´s an international student , now that´s bank breaking!
my country doesn´t offer loans and i´ll be paying the whole deal ouch....
