% but they dont! They lied to me and they have lied to almost everyone. Did they try that theory -- Give us all your money now and we give you 25% off because they have tried that in the past. Anyhow as my name sugests i should know better, i suffered from it. There is nothing in there nothing nothing. I mean a house and a few teachers and that is it. Do not be fooled go down and see for yourself if i am lying then comme on the forum and say so. Or i dare any IUHS student there now to say that it is not so.... Congrats on choosing medicine and make the right choice :D

Are you saying that the post below copied from FOREIGN MD forum is indeed correct? Is that poster correct? Can you shed any light on this for all the world to see? Do they really pad thier faculty list. After all this recent one varies drastically from the one that appeared on thier site in September.
Do you know why IUHS has had to change thier website so drastically at least four times in the last 10 months or so? You have been there. GIve us the full details, and then tell it to AMA, USMLE, and all Boards.

If one compares the current IUHS list padding with that transmitted on thier site in September following the departure of Larens Holmes, and the post by an ex student who claiims that there was only one teacher, we are amazed to see that there is still ONE TEACHER AND ONE TEACHER ALONE-- the steady Dr Rawlins!
Dont be fooled by the padding. From the warp and woof of theStaff Profiles by thier own admission there is only one teacher!
NO one needs AAIMG to go down to Basseterre to investigate this. They confess it themselves.
I have dissected it out for you. Compare the below with thier website, and learn to "read between the lines." Talk about dishonest! There is none better than the leadership of IUHS.

Lawrence Churchill Rawlings, M.D., FACS is perhaps the only real outstanding teacher at IUHS on any campus they have, online offline or anywhere. Yet he is not a Professor at IUHS-- only the figure head Principal on campus. At least he is real-- and really present at campus in St Kitts.
Next listed is a Dr. ***** who is noted to have returned to the USA and works in medical education & research developing and providing educational and training programs for continuing medical and practical education. So he does not really teach at IUHS then.
IUHS omits to recount that prior to joining the team with IUHS he was fired from another school for chasing a student with a baseball bat!
John H. Abeles, M.D., one time President is listed as usual as Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, but how on earth can he be teaching at IUHS and simultaneously an external director of the Immunology and Neurosciences division of the Higuchi Biosciences Institute of the University of Kansas. Dr Abeles is a Member of the Advisory Board of the College of Chemistry, University of California, Berkeley, California.
Think of it friends. Especially when IUHS does not have a program where Anatomy etc in one semester is followed by Pharmacology etc in the next.
Joshua Berkowitz, BPharm, M.D., MRCOG is listed as "is now a practicing gynecologist and consultant to the pharmaceutical industry".
Lesley Blake M.D. is listed as Director, Division of Geriatric Psychiatry, Northwestern University Medical School and Chief, Geriatric Psychiatric Services, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago, IL.
Steven Gerber M.D. is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and is on the Board of Overseers of Tufts University School of Medicine
David Lucas Ph.D. is currently involved in several biosciences companies.
Dr Samuels is Director, is currently involved in Clinical Research, Division of Hematology/Oncology, Lutheran General Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Illinois at Chicago, IL.
Dr Shulman is a Board certified practicing dermatologist in Toronto, Canada. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of DUSA Pharmaceuticals, a company engaged in research in novel photodynamic therapies in dermatology and other areas.
Georges Halpern M.D. Ph.D.is a consultant to several health care corporations and currently has a professorship at the University of Hong Kong Medical School.
William Dougherty, Professor of Cell Biology is currently Professor Emeritus in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at MUSC.
Nicholas Sinclair, Professor of Immunology, retired in 2001 from his post as a faculty member in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada (1967) where he taught students in the faculties of Medicine, Science, Dentistry and Nursing. He now holds the position of Professor Emeritus at The University of Western Ontario.
The distinguished Roderick Neame, M.A., M.B, B Chir.(M.D.), Ph.D., Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating Officer is a director of two successful software businesses in the UK.
In addition, Dr Neame also holds an appointment on the academic staff on his ‘local’ University, the University of Kent at Canterbury, where he is also working towards the development of a new medical school, as well as offering specialist study programs in medical informatics.
Dr Neame in his ‘spare’ time is co-director of two high technology companies which provide services to the health sector. One is a consulting company whose major clients include the World Bank, World Health Organisation, United Nations, British Medical Association and many others; the other is a technology integration and solutions company which provides area-wide ‘natural community care’ systems linking community, primary, secondary and tertiary care, as well as welfare and social security sectors and providing area-wide patient-centred health records availability.
Having agreed with all the above, tell me then, how does he get time to teach in St Kitts as stated in the IUHS staff profiles and other places on thier website?
THE ONLY ONE OF THE TEACHERS LISTED IN THE IUHS FACULTY PADDING EXERCISE IS DR RAWLINS! The others are not resident or present in St Kitts, and IUHS knows it."
Does any of the doctors in this padded list know how IUHS uses thier name fraudulently on thier website, to suggest that they are on thier full time teaching staff in Bassererre?

you need facts---- some form of evidence--- some sort of detailed information that could stand up in court
you cant expect intelligent people to accept what you say without real hard evidence
iuhs students dont have time to post-- they must study hard on thier own to pass thier exams i guess
bring some real evidence into this forum if you expect others to take your posts serious
dont worry about me i am staying far from there the posts on the other hansons post this year and last year have convinced me 100% to avoid that place
but to help others tell us what you saw there what happened there when you were there
or are you one of the iuhs personel that sometimes post against the school to trap true dissidents?

anywyas i told you what i saw one teacher and thatw as it they ahd some locla docs coming in for "guest lectures" and when they did not fogot and they showed up the lectures were horrible. Library is the room of the house and made with shelves. I feel pitty for anyone that got fooled and stayed there. I bid you adieu dear jen jen

what is the name of the one teacher
what are the names of the locals who come late and give poor lectures
were any of the names listed in the current iuhs online list of staff present on st kitts when you were there
when were you there
how long were you there
were you happy with thier wonderful clinical program at the st kitts hospital on mondays and fridays
how were you treated by the local administration
we have read that there is no library just a book case with a few books which the all purpose girl in the library dispenses at lib
please be nice give us answers to these questions and any other info that would help my friends and i decide finally about iuhs ok

yes almost all the proffs were listed The proff was a white guy from us and i think he also left. A lot of my classmates went to statia some at windsor mistake. aNYWYAS why do you care about going there.. Levae it be trust me. or goi ahead nad do it and you wills ee. I have no time to go through it all
