Hamilton place

Anyone live/knows someone who lives at Hamilton place? If so what are the impressions? Can you do better for the money? 760$/month

I lived in Hamilton for 2-4 semesters. I lived in that building apart from the main building. The rooms in the main building looked more cozy than in the building off to the side. If I were you, I'd go for one of the rooms in the main building: more modern, feels like home.

The maids clean up twice a week....but don't expect that much from them. Once I came back from break and the maid washed and dried all my clothes using my washer and dryer (w/o asking me first), and asked me for 60 EC. Although I appreciated the fact she did all that, I was a little upset at the fact she did it without asking me first (welcome to Dominica!). Oh yeah, my nice tie got destroyed too in the washer.

One of the other maids was pretty nice though. Don't know if they are still there though.

The management was very nice. I never met the owner of the complex, just the manager. I paid rent late several times and they didnt seem to mind.

Hamilton is a nice place, which I would recommend to anyone at Ross. With all the stress, it's always nice to come home to a nice environment (if you can afford it). Good luck.
