Hey i read on the SDN forum about students having problems obtaining clinicals after passing there exams. Does anyone know if this true?

Only choose a foreign medical school that guarantees your core rotations. It is not easy to find US programs to take you on for cores, its not impossible though but it is ALOT OF LEG WORK, so if they are set up for you then you can get the electives from the same hospitals. Saba will guarantee your cores, you set up your electives. I know of not one student in my class (and I keep in touch with roughly 20) who have had any problem whatsoever with cores or electives. As long as you are geographically flexible you will finish. (Plain and simple) Most of Saba's cores are greenbook and if you inquire where you think you will practice you can find out up front what you need. Remember most doctors are only ever licensed in 2 or 3 states over their entire career. Get licensed in your state of interest, the adjacent state, and Florida or Arizona so when you get old and wrinkly like Im getting you can dabble in medicine in your semi retirement while you golf every day. Best of Luck Scott
