when filling the application form, is it wise to add that you have applied to other medical schools? or will it count against you?

During my interview it didn't matter that I had applied to other schools. I would tell them as much info as possible ahead of time. Just my opinion.

IIRC they wanted a list of all the schools I applied to.

yeah, they asked me in the interview. so just put it down if you have applied to other schools. it doesn't hurt.
