Hi Friends. I have a question regarding Pennslyvania Licensure. I am about to graduate from a medical school in the Philippines and we only have 52 weeks of true clinical rotations. We do have some rotations which are integrated into our curriculm during our 1st-3rd years, but I don't think that will count for state licensing. I read that PA requires 72 weeks of clinical rotations in medical school to get a license. I interviewed at 2 surgery programs in PA and I am wondering if I should rank them. Is it required to get a state license to complete a residency training in surgery? Because of this 72 week rule, should I still rank these programs. Any advice would help. Thanks!
