What to expect first semester??

Hey guys, I'll be up for the January term. I was wondering if someone could give me a heads up on what the first semester course work will be like?

Is the work VERY comprehensive like Organic II, where there are a ton of concepts to learn? Or is it just pure volume that overwhelms?
