I am planning to do B.Sc (PT) in canada. Which other universities offer B.Sc (PT) and what is the prerequisite for joining this course. How many years ?

My aim is also to finally join a medical school either in Canada or in one of the off shore medical schools.

Did you try to get admission in the canadian medical school before joining this school.

Is BSc (PT) covering all the a pre-med requirement for admission in the Canadian medical school.

I would highly appreciate your response.
thanks

Sandy,

Welcome to the Jan 2005 forum. Yes, we'll definitely help each other...the program is new for everyone, I mean its intensity! So I do believe we shall be our 'brothers and sisters' keepers! Fear not!

By the way, just curious, which state are you from Sandy?

Hello All ...

I too have been accepted to Saba for Jan 2005 ...

A little about myself ... I can sand upright, although I do not always do ... I can milk a cow both by hand and with a machine ... and I should not be mixed with red wine ... although it has been know to occur from time to time.

And like Sandy ... I am nervous ... but what is life with out a little bit of fear ... stagnant if you let it control you, rewarding and adverturous if all it does is build awarness.

33

PS ... what is this I hear ... semester five students will be carrying out medical examination on semester one students?!!!!

classic
07-25-2004, 11:11 PM
Since you're good with cattle 33, I hope you don't expect them to inspect us like cattle. However, I have a friend who'll be in her fifth semester, and maybe it won't be so bad for me :o  ! Where exactly are you from bye the bye?
Oh, the count (just in case you want a quick glance at the ratio of the proportionality of the class so far) 10 U.S: 4 Canadians. :? Bet that 'll change once we see how many people didn't find the forum before starting in January.

KDog

Maybe it will be like 20 Americans and 25 Canadians.

Hello Classic (et all)

.... I am a Canadian, with no permantent address, an American birth certificate and SIN number, responding to you from a farm in Zug, Switzerland ...

And yes, as I have been following this forum for a while, I am aware of your friend SID ... and thus my concern !!!! Just Kidding ... actually ... I am looking forward to meeting everybody ... it looks like we have some clowns among us ... yourself, SID, etc. ... this should make both the learning and the time go by faster ...

33

PS ... I love your "end of email quote / statement" Classic ...

Yep, we'll definitely have a good time while were there. Perhaps living on the island will help us train for Survivor tryouts. Maybe we'd be able to win enough money to pay for our medical school loans   .
I think around the island we're not technically called clowns, I think we're called 'clown fish' (especially SID- the bloody nosed scuba queen.)

My reputation preceeds me! This can't be good!

Classic, keep it up and I'll show ya a bloody nose, you tomato-growing little runt! :P (Man, everyone on here is going to think I'm SO violent! hehehe :P )

33, once I figure out who you are I'm getting you for my CSA patient. Actually we don't officially perform any procedures on first semester students, although we do raid the cadavers and individually we may snag someone for practice at using the opthalmoscope or testing reflexes (those arm ones are kinda hard to hit...).

Clown fish are pretty cool, although I prefer the queen angelfishes - wanna talk about some beautiful fish?..there ya go!

I guess I should get to the studying, if I don't pass out here in the library. I be sleepy.....

Toodles!

Im a chiro in tx, been in practice for two years and decided to get a broader scope.

I've been accepted for Jan 05, but am considering UAG/ Guadalajara.
Our doctor that delivered our new little girl(two months old) graduated from UAG. From what I've looked at they're not having as hard a time getting licensed in tx. But you have a five year committment instead of 40 months in carrib. But you are fluent in spanish after graduating from UAG. If anyone has had to make that decision or knows someone that has I would love some feedback.

congrats EVERYONE!!!!!
