When is it safe to get a ticket back home considering the last day of final exams is listed as April 14, 2005? ie, when can I leave the rock in April and not worry about having to miss any finals?

You know how rumors are at SMU...Having said that, I've heard that the classrooms are changing a bit. Like lecture hall 2 is becoming part of the library and there will be a new Med school lecture hall in the vet school (mostly for 1st semesters). That might change the exam schedule, HOWEVER, for every other semester, Thursday of exam week has been a safe day to get a ticket outta here. Some people try to fly out wednesday evening, but that's risky if there are afternoon exams. If you asked Dr. N., I think he would tell you not to leave until friday, but I really think that's a worst-case scenario.

I have a return ticket for the 16th.....should I change it to the 14th or 15th?

It is up to you. I dont think you have to be out of the RH until the 17th. It is your own preference. I am also leaving on the 16th. I thought I might need some extra time just in case I need to do some things.
