Hello,

I just found out I received an interview for Saba med. I was wondering if someone could fill me in on what to expect during the interview. What type of questions were asked? How long was the interview?

Also, have most people done phone interviews or in person interviews?

Thanks
dj

Congrats on receiving an interview, that means they are interested... it's just up to you to showcase yourself! Most interviews that I've heard of were done via a phone conference. My interview was conducted in this manner. There were three interviewers, and all had a few questions for me. They made me feel very comfortable... it was done professionally but also laid back. They basically wanted to know what kind of person I was... what made me tick inside. There were the usual questions about finances, transition to island life, background and academic performance. It would be helpful if you went into the interview with a good knowledge about the university AND the island. And don't be afraid to ask questions about anything you'd like to know. Here is a link to another post in this forum that was helpful for me when I was preparing for my interview.

Consequently, I was accepted and will be starting in May 04.

Good luck!

Hey don't worry about your interview. They are pretty basic questions and they really want to find out if you did your homework. Know things about Saba and make a list of questions to show them your interested! Goodluck!!!

Just relax and be yourself...

Don't stress about it to much, I agree with Rich, they will find out if you did your homework. Read all the info on the website.

Very laid back, my was a phone interview and there were also three people. Each asked me a couple of questions. Basically they want to know if you will adapt to the island and if you are going to be dedicated.

good luck
