Do you (current med students) recommend getting the Kaplan notes and studying them now? I'm not going to start til Jan.

That depends on your background. If you dont have a strong basis in biomedical sciences, you might be wasting your time. Otherwise, my opinion is it never hurts to start early.
On the other hand, if you are going to Saba you will be beginning a very challenging basic sciences program. Have fun while you can. There will be more than enough time for study in the future.
