I am a incoming first semester student and was wondering if it was possible to start renting an apartment before one leaves the island after the semester. I know the handbook says to come a week before the next semester begins but the reason i am asking is because i wanted to keep most of my thing on the island instead of transporting them back and forth. Also, i would not mind staying behind and having some friends from the states come down to visit. Any answers?
