I've read some really negative things about Saba. Maybe some current students could help me with their comments. I heard the school is poorly run and that the instructors do not properly prepare you for exams. I know that med school is hard work and it will take a lot of studying, but how do current students rate the instruction?

Gee, how to respond to this one... Well, lets start by asking who wrote the negative comments you have been reading. Have you looked at the SUSM web site? The most recent class had 4 scores over 240 on USMLE part 1, including a 267. In addition, the first time pass rate for step 1 hovers around 95%. Now, if I were a betting man, I'd be wagering that the school is doing a fairly good job of preparing its students. Thats just my opinion, though. Maybe someone who flunked out or who never even took a class at SUSM might have better insight. Be careful what you read. If you have doubts about ANY school, I suggest that you visit it, sit in on a few classes and talk with the students there. Make up your own mind. Good luck!
