Hi, I am in my first semester in med school

I have Gross, Histo and Embryo

I was wondering about how many questions from each of these subjects I can expcet to see the on the Step 1s...

I have heard the majority of the questions will be from my upper level classes...but I was wondering how many of these will appear?

On my exam I had approx 15 gross, 5 histo, and 5-8 that could be considered embryo. Now if you want to consider molecular cell part of histo instead of path then there were quite a few more histo!

I am interested what books you are using for gross, embryo, histo and neuroanatomy? Do you study in the US?

No I study overseas

for Gross I am using Moore/Netters
Histo I am using Wheaters
Embryo I am using Moore/Langman


what are you guys using?

Gross: same, sometimes grants atlas
Histo: same as you +HY
Embryo: Langman and HY, I think Larsen is Ok as well.
